When was the last time you experienced outstanding service?

I am appalled generally at the total lack of customer service and sensitivity to this issue that we encounter daily.
Either,there is an attitude problem,where we,the customer,appear to be doing the supplier a favour.Or,there is a total break down in efficiency due lack of product and company knowledge.
One of the worst examples are so called technical support centres,automated phone lines etc .
Time is very precious for all-how much time have we all wasted just to speak to someone to fix a problem that we are not responsible for?
The larger the organisation,the worse this seems to become.
Of course there are exceptions,but in general this is not the case.
Excellent service is nothing exceptional.It is the norm.
Want repeat business?Want your customers to be happy?
Ensure that one never forgets to add value to what the customer is expecting.Their experience has to be exceptional-and therefore memorable.
